The Hangover: the review

You want to laugh? You will, a lot.

Zach Galifianakis is going to be the next Jack Black level break out comedy star. Think Will Ferrell in Old School, director Todd Phillips is back to form. Ed Helms does what he does best, too. He’s become typecast, but it works so well here.

The Hangover does suffer slightly from some of the best surprises being revealed in the trailers. For better or worse it’s never sentimental like Judd Apatow’s comedies.

But Kerasotes Block E theater shut off the end credits before they were done. Possibly because of this?

Do me (and yourself) a favor. See it in the theater, stay for the end credits and let me know here if Zach’s “special shots” are shown.
