Usually when Pablo or Doodles grabs my camera there are an inordinate amount of shoe shots and door knobs, floors, things we don’t normally look at as adults too much. Some of these shots are actually kinda arty and cool. Most just take up hard drive space. But this shot Pablo got of Doodles is pretty great. At least I think Pablo took it, maybe it was a Doodles self-portrait?

Jefe found Pablo holding up an end table drawer, precariously perched on the verge of falling on his feet.
Crisis averted, but I still don’t know how to do origami. But the amount of times you get to be a hero helps balance the times you’ve failed.

Palm Sunday. 7am.
Pablo, almost 5, cut off a clump of Doodles’ (3) hair with his little scissors.
Mama: “Why did you do that?”
Pablo: “It was sticking up in the back!”
Doodles has a bit of a bald spot on top of his head now. This is the clump I found on the art table, not another mustache.
